The severe cold wave has intensified its grip over Kashmir with the night temperatures plunging further below freezing across the Valley.

Srinagar recorded a bone-chilling low of -4.0°C while Qazigund in south Kashmir registered a low of -3.6°C.
The tourist destination of Pahalgam continued to shiver at -4.8°C.
In Pampore in south Kashmir, night temperature settled at -5.0°C, while it settled at -4.2°C in Budgam.
Pulwama and Shopian remained among the coldest places in the Valley with night temperature dropping to at -5.6°C and -5.3°C respectively.
In Bandipora, the night temperature settled at -3.9°C. Ganderbal recorded -2.6°C, Sonamarg -3.6°C.
In the cold desert region of Ladakh, sub-zero conditions also persisted.
Leh recorded -9.0°C, Kargil -7.8°C, and the Nubra Valley -7.6°C.
