Srinagar, Aug 29: As part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, the 132 Bn CRPF, in collaboration with Secure Path (Civil Society Organisation) and Shining Star Public High School, organised a One-Day Programme on Drug Awareness and Prevention at the Old Court Complex, Court Road, Lal Chowk, Srinagar.

The programme was organised as part of the 3rd Phase of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, with the objective of creating awareness among youth and the general public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraging them to contribute towards building a drug-free society.
Around 200 participants, including school students, teachers, civilians and others, participated in the programme.
A pledge against drug abuse was also administered to all participants. Following the programme, a drug-awareness rally was organised from Old Sardar Court to Clock Tower, Lal Chowk, Srinagar. The participants carried awareness messages and raised slogans advocating a drug-free society, spreading the message of Nasha Mukt Bharat among the public. Pamphlets on drug awareness were also distributed among local public during the rally.
During the event, motivational and awareness speeches were delivered by Chief Guest Shri Dr. Deep Shekhar Mohan, CMO (SG) of 132 BN CRPF; Resource Person Er. Mubashir Jan (ARTO) and Shri S. Umar Bhat, Executive Director, Secure Path.
Certificates of participation were distributed to the participants in recognition of their involvement in the awareness programme. Refreshments were also provided to all the participants.
