Ramban, Feb 5: The 84 Battalion of CRPF launched the Shaheed Mushtaq Ahmed Memorial Volleyball Tournament 2026 at Chanderkote to promote youth engagement and sports in the district. Eight teams from Chanderkote, Dalwas, Batote, and Sanasar are participating in the knockout event.

Commandant N. Ranbir Singh, along with senior officers, inaugurated the tournament, emphasizing the role of sports in discipline, fitness, and positive community engagement. On the opening day, Chenab Warriors Chanderkote and Team Chanderkote registered wins, and sports kits were distributed to all participating teams.
