
Jammu, April 2: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo convened a meeting to review the progress of the District Business Reforms Action Plan (D-BRAP) 2025 across Jammu and Kashmir, aimed at improving citizen services and fostering a business-friendly environment under the guidance of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
The meeting, coordinated by the Industries & Commerce Department, was attended by Administrative Secretaries, senior officers, district officials, and the Director of Industries Jammu. Dulloo emphasized the need for 100% implementation of all reform points, urging departments and district administrations to build capacity, monitor progress daily, and ensure tangible outcomes for citizens and businesses.
Commissioner Secretary I&C Vikramjit Singh highlighted that DPIIT has identified 46 services across 15 departments for digitization, supported by a real-time monitoring dashboard accessible to Deputy Commissioners via the JKSW portal. Director Industries Arun Manhas detailed department-wise responsibilities and the status of online services, including land records, property registrations, educational approvals, health licenses, transport services, and industrial permits.
Dulloo stressed that the D-BRAP reforms, comprising 154 action points for Jammu and Kashmir, aim to streamline processes, reduce compliance burdens, strengthen District Industries Centres, and promote industrial parks to attract investments and generate employment. He directed all departments to ensure seamless coordination from grassroots to top administration to achieve an efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric governance model.
