
Jammu, April 9: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo chaired a meeting to review key e-governance and digital transformation initiatives across Jammu and Kashmir, in collaboration with the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-Informatics (BISAG-N).
The meeting was attended by Secretary IT Dr. Piyush Singla, Special DG BISAG-N Vinay Thakur, administrative secretaries, department heads, senior police officers, and representatives from the National Informatics Centre.
During the review, the Chief Secretary assessed the progress of various online platforms aimed at improving governance efficiency and public service delivery. Departments were directed to resolve bottlenecks and ensure timely rollout of these initiatives.
Key platforms discussed included the AI-based GST Fraud Detection System, End-to-End Energy Tracking and Management System (EETMS), JKCIP, Kisan Khidmat Ghar, Daksh Kisan Mobile App, Kisan Sathi, and the Tourism Department’s AI-enabled portal and mobile app. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 survey app, Legacy Jamabandi visualization, online mutation module, and other digital tools across revenue, agriculture, tourism, power, and home departments were also reviewed.
The Chief Secretary emphasized integration of systems such as SWRR-JK with e-Office, enhancement of JK Samadhan portal, and rollout of an AI-based search engine for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances investigations. Departments were instructed to prioritize inter-departmental coordination, outcome-driven implementation, and maximize citizen service benefits.
The meeting highlighted the government’s commitment to leveraging technology for transparency, accountability, and efficient service delivery across Jammu and Kashmir.
