Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo today chaired a high-level meeting to review the progress of ongoing Information Technology (IT) initiatives aimed at strengthening governance and citizen-centric service delivery across Jammu & Kashmir.
The meeting was attended by Special DG BISAG-N Vinay Thakur, Secretary IT Dr. Piyush Singla, concerned Administrative Secretaries, DG Planning, SIO NIC, and senior officials.
The Chief Secretary took a detailed appraisal of the digital interventions under the Digital J&K framework. He called for improving the design and functionality of departmental dashboards, making them vibrant, informative, and outcome-driven, with integration across platforms.
He specifically directed that the Kisan Khidmat Ghar Dashboard must reflect real-time data on Krishi Udhyamis, and clearly outline available support mechanisms to boost their productivity.
Reviewing the YUVA App, Dulloo called for better insights into user engagement, application tracking, DPR generation, and integration with platforms like MSME Health Clinic and ONDC. He also stressed linking the app with UDISE and APAAR databases to track student skill development and career outcomes.
In the healthcare sector, he emphasized deeper integration of the JK Sehat App with ABDM and HMIS, making it more user-friendly while enabling registered home-care providers to access diagnostic tools and deliver better treatment.
He proposed creating a unified government search engine to index official J&K and central websites, improving access to public data and resources. Additionally, he advised the IT Department to explore an AI-based Legal Counselling App to assist citizens with legal guidance.
Discussions also included development of AI-based learning tools, launch of educational TV channels, and early exposure to AI modules (AI-101 and AI-201) in schools to foster tech skills.
Special DG BISAG-N Vinay Thakur shared project updates and assured continued collaboration for delivering robust, scalable, and citizen-centric solutions.
Earlier, Secretary IT Dr. Piyush Singla presented a comprehensive overview of key milestones and future plans, highlighting the transformative potential of J&K’s digital initiatives in improving governance and service delivery.
