Apropos to the news item “CUK Extends Winter Vacation Till February 14,” published by various media organisations on 7^th of February, 2025, the Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) wants to clarify that the Vacations have not been extended and the academic activity (resumption of class through online mode) will be started from 10-02-2025 to 14-02-2025.

However, the physical classes shall resume from 17-02-2025. The faculty members have been directed to conduct the online classes from 10-02-2025 to ensure the academic continuity. The order issued does not anywhere call for extension of winter vacations.
