The Cultural Unit Srinagar of DIPR in collaboration with Markaz e Adab wa Saqafat organised an impressive literary event at famous tourist resort Doodpathri, here.
On the occasion a scintillating music and cultural programme was presented, besides, poetry collection of Baba Ab.Khaliq and revised edition of Nunposh by noted poet and writer Prof.Mohd.Zaman Azurda were also released.
A Mehfil Mushaira was also conducted during which the luminaries of Kashmiri literature presented their poetic masterpieces.
The literary event was graced by a galaxy of poets and writers of Kashmir including President Adbi Markaz Kamraz, M Amin Bhat, Prof Mohd.Zaman Azurda, Prof. Shad Ramzan, Prof. Farooq Fayaz, Mushtaq Mehram, Inayat Gul, Yunus Waheed, Ali Ahsan, Syed Shakeel Shan etc.
Speakers presented thought provoking papers on the critical appreciation of the books released during the programme. Ways means for promotion and preservation of Kashmiri language and literature.
