Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai on Wednesday convened a meeting of officers of line departments, here in Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex to assess the status of ongoing schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
The DC conducted a thorough scheme-wise review, emphasizing the need to expedite work. She also directed for the timely completion of all allotted works and emphasized on addressing bottlenecks, if any.
Necessary directives were issued to concerned authority to apply for cases of forest clearance within one week on Parivesh Portal. She stressed the importance of maintaining close coordination among different stakeholders to ensure unhindered progress.
Among others, Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan, DFO, XEN Jal Shakti, Ashok Kumar, XEN JKPDCL besides AEEs, JEs attended the meeting.
