The enforcement wing of Srinagar development Authority (SDA) on Thursday carried out demolition drive at various places including Parimpora,transport nagar,fruit mundi Srinagar against illegal constructions/encroachments carried out by some unscrupulous persons.

The spokesperson in a statement issued said: "The illegal construction was demolished and apart from that the illegal vendors, kabaddi -walas and workshops, dumping of used vehicles on government land by unscrupulous persons who were operating their illegal business in and around northern Bus stand were removed, dismantled."

The SDA warned people who are living under its jurisdiction not to go for any illegal construction and encroachments .

The demolition drive against such construction and encroachments shall continue in coming days as well, it also said.

The demolition was successfully executed as per the directions of the vice chairman SDA, Owais Ahmad, statement reads.
