Dimapur, Nagaland: Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General of AssamRifles, visited HQ 6 Sector Assam Rifles in Dimapur on April 6, 2026, to review operational preparedness and assess ongoing security and administrative measures in the region.

In recognition of exceptional service, he awarded on-the-spot Director General Assam Rifles Commendation Cards to three outstanding soldiers for their exemplary performance.
