AssamRifles, visited the National Integrity and Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO) Centre at Chieswema on 06 April 2026. The visit focused on motivating students, reviewing their academic preparation, and assessing their living conditions.
During his visit, Lt Gen Lakhera interacted with 33 students and staff members, taking a keen interest in their studies, daily routines, and preparation for competitive examinations. He appreciated the dedication, discipline, and commitment demonstrated by the students in pursuing academic excellence.
Addressing the students, the DG emphasized the importance of determination, perseverance, and self-belief in achieving success. He encouraged them to set clear goals, maintain consistency in effort, and uphold integrity and ethical values in all endeavors.
Lt Gen Lakhera also reviewed the facilities provided at the NIEDO Centre, ensuring that the environment is conducive to learning and personal growth. He highlighted the role of such institutions in shaping the future of youth and preparing them to contribute meaningfully to society.
