DIG 21 Sector Assam Rifles meets Tripura DGP

Agartala, Jan 1: Brigadier Nishant Chandel, Deputy Inspector General of 21 Sector Assam Rifles, called on Anurag, Director General of Police, Tripura, to discuss matters of security coordination and cooperation in the state.
During the meeting, both officers reviewed the prevailing security situation, identifying challenges and potential threats that require joint action. Emphasis was laid on the importance of close collaboration between Assam Rifles and Tripura Police to ensure public safety, effective law enforcement, and prompt response to security incidents.
The discussion also focused on information sharing, joint patrolling, and coordinated operational planning, aiming to enhance the overall security apparatus in Tripura. Such high-level consultations are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen inter-agency synergy and maintain peace and stability in the region.
