
Jammu, Feb 12: The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) organized a one-day cinema workshop, Cine Connect, at the Media Complex in Jammu. The workshop was attended by students from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Government Polytechnic College Gandhinagar, and artists from the Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.
Director Information and Public Relations, Nitish Rajora, said the workshop aims to strengthen the cinematic ecosystem and provide exposure to aspiring filmmakers. Resource persons included actors and filmmakers Ajay Paul Singh Andotra, Atul Vinod Duggal, and Mir Sarwar, who conducted sessions on acting, filmmaking, theatre arts, and career opportunities in cinema.
The workshop featured interactive sessions where students learned practical techniques, industry insights, and career guidance, marking a significant step in promoting film culture and empowering local youth in Jammu & Kashmir.
