The District Anantnag Carrom Championship 2025-26 concluded today at the Multi-Purpose Indoor Sports Complex, Bijbehara, Anantnag, witnessing enthusiastic participation from carrom players across the district.

Mohammad Shafi (Manager, Indoor Sports Complex) and Mr. Arif Sultan Khan (Treasurer, J&K Carrom Association) distributed medals and certificates among the winners, runners-up, and participants.
The closing ceremony was attended by Adil Malik (General Secretary, District Anantnag Carrom Association), Mr. Ishfaq Ahmad (Joint Secretary, District Anantnag Carrom Association), and other dignitaries and members of the association
The event, originally scheduled for 27th August 2025 but postponed due to the flood situation in South Kashmir, was successfully conducted with great zeal and sportsmanship.
Organized by the District Anantnag Carrom Association under the auspices of the J&K Carrom Association and as part of the J&K Sports Council’s initiative “My Youth My Pride,” the championship featured competitions across four categories in boys’, girls’, men’s, and women’s sections.
