The District Soft Tennis Championship 2025, held from 29th to 31st August 2025 at the Indoor Sports Stadium, Doda, concluded with great enthusiasm and participation from across the district. The three-day event witnessed spirited performances, showcasing discipline, skills, and sportsmanship among young players.

The Closing Ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries. Chief Guest, Mr. Kamran Wasiq Nehru, Manager of HDFC Bank Doda Branch, appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee for providing a platform to budding players and emphasized the importance of sports in shaping the youth for a brighter future.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Ram Ramji Sharma, Manager of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Nagri Branch, encouraged the athletes to continue their hard work and dedication, assuring his full support in promoting Soft Tennis and other sports in the region.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Special Guests, Mrs. Masrat Jahan, Senior Lecturer in English and Mr. Rajesh Kotwal (Manager, Indoor Sports Stadium Doda), who applauded the participants for their determination and highlighted the role of sports in youth empowerment and community building.
Medals and certificates were distributed among the winners and participants to recognize and motivate emerging talents. The championship concluded with a vote of thanks by the organizing committee, expressing gratitude to the guests, officials, coaches, and parents for their valuable contribution to the success of the event.
The District Soft Tennis Championship 2025 marked yet another step in nurturing grassroots sports talent and promoting a vibrant sports culture in Doda.
