The District Soft Tennis Championship 2025–26, organized by the District Anantnag Amateur Soft Tennis Association under the banner of J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association, concluded successfully at the Indoor Sports Complex, Nilandrus Bijbehara. The event was held in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council & affiliated with the Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India w.e.f. 30-07-2025 to 31-07-2025 at Indoor Sports Hall Nilandrus Bijbehara Anantnag
The championship was graced by Mr. Mohd Shafi (Manager, Indore Sports Complex Bajbira)
Bashir Ahmad Mir as the Chief Guest,
Mr. Shakir Ashraf (General Secretary, J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association) as 2nd Chief Guest,
& Mr. Mohd Shafi Dar (Manager, Indoor Complex Bijbehara) as the Guest of Honour The official for the event was Ubaid Hassan, as international soft tennis player. Ms. Fancy Jan served as the Organizing Secretary and ensured smooth conduct of the championship.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young talent across the district, promoting the sport at grassroots level.
