The Poonch Table Tennis Association organised the 34th Poonch Table Tennis Championship today at Indoor Hall of sports stadium. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal as Chief Guest and ADC, Tahir Mustafa Malik as special Guest.
In his inaugural address, the chief guest said that he was delighted to see immense talent in Poonch in all formats of games. He said that youth should play their role in nation building and stay away from drugs.
The DC also appreciated the Poonch T.T. association for its excellent contribution towards uplifting the game for more than three decades. DC Poonch assured the players that administration is behind their back and they should play the games in a true sportsman spirit.
Later prizes were distributed among the participants.
