The Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, conducted a visit to Hajj House Bemina on Tuesday to personally assess the arrangements and facilities provided for the convenience of pilgrims.
The Chairman of J&K Haj Committee, Abdul Salam, briefed the Div Com on the administrative efforts undertaken to ensure proper and high-quality amenities for Hajj pilgrims.
Accompanied by officials, the Div Com thoroughly inspected the rooms, halls, and overall sanitation and cleanliness of Hajj House. He stressed the importance of providing good quality food and services to the pilgrims and instructed the concerned authorities to regularly change bed sheets.
Additionally, the Div Com held a brief meeting with the officers and officials of Hajj House, issuing directives to maintain cleanliness, ensure the functionality of drinking water points and electricity connectivity, as well as decorate the premises.
He emphasized the significance of close coordination and synergy with other departments to ensure the successful completion of the entire pilgrimage journey.
