Doda, Sep 21: The Inter-District Division-Level Girls’ All Age Groups Taekwondo Competition 2026, organised by Youth Services & Sports District Doda, concluded today at the Indoor Stadium here, with District Doda securing the Overall Championship Trophy.

The Doda contingent put up an impressive performance during the three-day championship, securing 26 medals, including 9 Gold, 6 Silver and 11 Bronze, across different age groups.
The championship brought together young Taekwondo athletes from different districts of the Jammu Division, providing them an opportunity to compete at the divisional level and showcase their skills, discipline and sporting talent.
The participation of young female athletes reflected the growing interest of girls in sports.
The championship was conducted under the overall guidance of Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K Anuradha Gupta and Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu Inderjeet Singh Parihar with the supervision of District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO) Ashok Kumar.
The successful conduct of the event was facilitated by the coordinated efforts of coaches, managers, selectors, technical officials, Activity Incharges and organising staff, who worked throughout the championship to ensure its smooth execution.
The DYSSO expressed gratitude to all participating athletes, coaches, managers, selectors, technical officials and organising personnel for their cooperation and dedicated efforts in making the championship a success.
