The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) on Saturday ordered for change in timings for all the government and private institutions falling within the Srinagar municipal limits from 1st October 2023.
According to an order from the DSEK, all the schools in the summer capital will open from 9 AM and will close at 3 PM from tomorrow (1st October).
“In supersession of all previous orders, it is hereby ordered that all the government and private recognized schools within the municipal limits of Srinagar city shall observe school timings from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, w.e.f 01.10.2023,” reads the order from DSEK.
