Handwara, Dec 30: : The District Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) Kupwara, Zone Handwara, on Tuesday organized a felicitation ceremony to honour young hockey player Hanan Shabir of GMS Kulangam for his maiden achievement in the sport.

Hanan was given a warm welcome at Higher Secondary School Handwara, where students and staff members gathered to appreciate his success. The programme highlighted his hard work, discipline, and dedication towards hockey.
The ceremony was attended by DYSSO Kupwara, Deputy Chief Education Officer Kupwara Rafeeq Ahmad, and SHO Handwara Sofi Vilayat, along with other officers.
Speakers on the occasion praised Hanan’s performance and described him as a promising player. They said his achievement reflects the importance of focus and regular practice.
