Passengers in Srinagar can now track the live location of e-buses and plan their journeys more efficiently thanks to a new partnership between Srinagar Smart City Ltd and the ticketing app "Chalo."
Officials announced the partnership, stating that the app will enable users to track the live location of e-buses on their smartphones, allowing for improved wait times and travel planning.
It will also enable viewing of route plans for each e-bus route, ensuring passengers know exactly where they are going, generate tickets and pay fares through the application within the next few days, eliminating the need for cash or physical tickets and search for specific locations and check the availability of e-buses on those routes also estimate arrival times for e-buses at their designated stops.
This integration of technology is expected to significantly enhance the public transport experience in Srinagar. Passengers can now plan their journeys with greater accuracy, minimize waiting times, and enjoy a more convenient and cashless travel experience.
