The UT Administration had made special traffic arrangements for Eid ud Milad (SAW) at Dargah Hazratbal in Srinagar on Thursday.
A large number of devotees were expected to visit the shrine on the occasion, and the traffic police had made arrangements to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
Special routes were earmarked for vehicles carrying devotees from different parts of Kashmir, including North, South, and Central Kashmir.
The traffic police also deployed additional personnel at key intersections and along the routes leading to the shrine.
The UT Administration had also appealed to the public to cooperate with the traffic police and follow the instructions given by them.
The special traffic arrangements were successful in ensuring smooth flow of traffic and devotees were able to reach the shrine without any inconvenience.
