Srinagar, July 13: Tirath Singh Rawat, former Chief Minister, Uttarakhand called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, at Lok Bhavan on Monday.

A delegation of Pahari Tribal Employees Welfare Forum led by its President Khalid Mehmood Khan also called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, today.
The members of the delegation projected various welfare issues of Pahari Tribal/ST-2 employees working in different departments including extension of benefits of reservation in promotion.
Meanwhile, a public delegation from Shopian led by Adv Shabir Ahmad Kullay, Member Legislative Assembly from Shopian called on Lieutenant Governor Sinha and put forth important matters related to implementation of Forest Rights Act and other issues of public importance.
