In an effort to reach out to Veterans and Veer Naris residing in areas under the jurisdiction of Dagger Division, an Ex-Servicemen rally will be organized at Baramulla on 14 Jan 2025.
The Ex-Servicemen Rally will be organized for Baramulla District of Jammu & Kashmir. Various functions will be organized at Baramulla to mark our solidarity towards the Veterans and Next of Kin of our brave hearts as a mark of their selfless duty and sacrifices towards the Nation. The event will be graced by senior mil officers & senior civil dignitaries. As the rally is expected to be attended by a large number of Veterans, Veer Naris & their dependents, this is also seen as an opportunity for the Armed Forces to guide, educate our Veterans and their Next of Kin in their day to day problems. The event is likely to be attended by approximately 350 Ex-Servicemen.
The Rally will be aimed at providing assistance to Veterans and Veer Naris regarding relevant post retirement beneficial information, facilitate redressal of grievances and overcome documentation anomalies in co-ordination with representatives of various Record Offices & Bank Officials. Representatives of agencies involved in welfare of ex-servicemen such as SPARSH Service Centre, ZSB & ECHS will also be in attendance. A medical camp will also be established under the aegis of Dagger Division to provide necessary medical cover to the attendees.
