A father and his son were killed after the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Rajarwani area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
Officials said the accident occurred when a vehicle bearing registration number JK05N-7924 collided with a dumper at Rajarwani area in Uri, resulting in the death of two persons.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Latif Ganie and his son, Faizan Ahmad Ganie.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
An FIR under sections 281, 125 Sub A, and 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) has been registered at Police Station Uri, and further investigation is underway.
