Gbl clinches U14 girls football championship title

The Inter District Provincial Level Football Championship for Girls U14, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K and hosted by YSS Ganderbal at GCOPE Gadoora, concluded today with great enthusiasm. The multi-day tournament witnessed spirited participation from various districts of Kashmir Province, offering a platform for young female footballers to showcase their talent and sportsmanship.On the final day, two matches were held—the final and the hardliner. The hardliner match for third place was played between District Bandipora and District Budgam, in which Bandipora emerged victorious after a competitive face-off.
The much-anticipated final saw host District Ganderbal take on District Srinagar. Ganderbal dominated the first half, scoring two brilliant goals. Srinagar responded with an early goal in the second half and kept pressing hard, but Ganderbal’s defense stood firm.The hosts held their 2-1 lead until the final whistle, thereby lifting the championship trophy.
