GGHSS Kothi Bagh hosts anti-drug awareness programme

As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, Cultural Unit Srinagar of the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), in collaboration with the Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Kothi Bagh Srinagar, organized an impactful awareness programme focused on drug de-addiction.
On the occasion, a thought-provoking short play was staged by a local theatre group, highlighting the devastating consequences of substance abuse. The performance effectively conveyed a strong social message and was received with great appreciation by the students and staff.
Sabhat, Principal of the institution, lauded the initiative and stressed the need for community-wide efforts to tackle the challenge of drug abuse.
Burhan Hussain, Cultural Officer, also addressed the audience and emphasized the role of awareness and cultural expression in promoting a drug-free society.
The programme concluded with an anti-drug pledge, reinforcing the commitment of the school community to work toward a healthier and addiction-free future.
