Anantnag, May 13 : Government Girls High School (GHS) Khanabal clinched the title of the Zonal Level Inter-School Kho-Kho Under-14 competition after defeating Birla Open Minds Anantnag by nine points in the final held at Sports Stadium Monghal.

The event, organised by the Youth Services and Sports Zone Anantnag, witnessed participation from top 24 schools. It was conducted under the banner of the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan in collaboration with the District Administration Anantnag.
GHS Khanabal dominated the final from the outset, displaying consistent performance to outplay Birla Open Minds and secure the winner’s trophy.
The prize distribution ceremony was held immediately after the final. Mr Fayaz Ahmad Pala, ITO and coach of the winning team GHS Khanabal, distributed the prizes among the winners and runners-up.
