GOC Mishra reviews security in Padri Gali

Rajouri, June 6: As part of ongoing efforts to maintain operational readiness and strengthen the security grid in the hinterland areas, General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P. K. Mishra, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, accompanied by the GOC CIF (Delta), visited the general area of Padri Gali to review the prevailing security situation and ongoing counter-terrorism operations.During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the robust intelligence network established in the region, continuous area domination activities, and the effective coordination among various security agencies. He also reviewed the security arrangements undertaken by the troops of the White Knight Corps to ensure peace, stability, and a secure environment in the area.Interacting with soldiers deployed in the challenging and rugged terrain, Lieutenant General Mishra commended the troops for their professionalism, operational preparedness, and unwavering commitment towards safeguarding the region. He appreciated their dedication in carrying out their duties under adverse weather conditions while maintaining a high level of vigilance.The Corps Commander emphasized the importance of sustained operational readiness, seamless intelligence sharing, and close inter-agency coordination in effectively countering emerging security challenges. He lauded the efforts of all ranks in maintaining a secure atmosphere for the local population and reinforcing confidence among the people.The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to ensuring peace, stability, and security across the region through proactive operations and constant vigilance.
