
Kohima, June 29: Spear Corps commemorated the 27th Memorial Day of Capt N Kenguruse, Maha Vir Chakra (Posthumous), paying solemn homage to the Kargil War hero who made the supreme sacrifice in service of the nation.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC), Spear Corps, laid a wreath at the memorial to honour the braveheart and reaffirm the Army’s enduring respect for its fallen heroes. The ceremony was attended by senior Army officials and was marked by solemn remembrance and gratitude for Capt Kenguruse’s exemplary courage during the Kargil conflict.
As part of the observance, the parents of Capt N Kenguruse were felicitated by the Army in recognition of their unwavering courage, resilience, and sacrifice.
