Kohima, Oct 24: Lieutenant General Abhijit S. Pendharkar, AVSM, YSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Spear Corps, visited Headquarters IGAR (North) in Kohima, Nagaland, to review the security scenario and assess operational preparedness.

During the visit, Lt Gen Pendharkar interacted with officers and personnel, evaluating ongoing operations, deployment strategies, and the overall effectiveness of security measures in the region. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high vigilance and readiness in response to emerging security challenges.
The GOC praised the professionalism and dedication of the troops, acknowledging their commitment to safeguarding the region. He lauded the efforts undertaken by the formation to enhance combat readiness and recognized the high morale maintained across all ranks.
