Imphal, June 11: General Officer Commanding (GOC) Spear Corps visited an Assam Rifles unit deployed at Tupul in Manipur and forward posts along the Indo-Myanmar Border in Chandel district on Wednesday.

During the visit, the GOC reviewed operational preparedness, border management measures, and the prevailing security situation in the region.
He interacted with troops deployed at forward locations and appreciated their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to duty in maintaining peace and stability under challenging conditions.
The GOC also assessed ground realities along sensitive border areas and emphasized continued vigilance and high operational readiness.
Officials said the visit highlighted the Army’s focus on strengthening border security and sustaining stability in the region.
