GoC Spear Corps reviews security in Manipur

Senapati , May 9: General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Spear Corps visited Maram in Senapati district of Manipur and reviewed the operational readiness and prevailing security situation of Assam Rifles formations deployed in the region.

During the visit, the Corps Commander assessed ground-level preparedness, coordination mechanisms, and overall security dynamics in the area, which remains strategically significant in maintaining peace and stability.
He was briefed by field commanders on operational challenges, deployment patterns, and ongoing efforts to ensure effective area domination and security management in sensitive zones.
The GOC appreciated the professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment of the troops towards maintaining peace and stability in the region. He also commended their continuous efforts in safeguarding public order and supporting civil administration in difficult terrain conditions.
