
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra
The Lt Governor administration in Jammu and Kashmir has made all arrangements for the mega saturation drive 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' and appointed nodal officer and formed steering committee for the smooth conduct of the yatra.
Commencing on November, 15, on the birth anniversary of the revered ‘adivasi’ icon, Birsa Munda, the 72-day nationwide outreach and awareness campaign ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ is aimed at promoting government schemes and reaching the vulnerable sections of society.
The government has appointed Dr Piyush Singla, Administrative Secretary, Planning and Monitoring Department as UT level Nodal Officer.
Besides, the government has formed a Steering Committee to assist the Union Territory Level Committee for regular review and improving coordination among different organizations associated with the campaign.
The Steering Committee includes Principal Secretary to the Government, Finance Department as Chairperson, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Affairs, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, Divisional Commissioner Jammu as members and Secretary to the Government, Planning Development and Monitoring Department as Member- convenor. The Committee shall be serviced by the Planning Development & Monitoring Department.
The Government has also established Control Rooms at UT Level and District Level for overall coordination and supervision during the campaign.
The Deputy Commissioners shall finalize the Route plan for the campaign and submit the same to the respective Divisional Commissioner(s). The plans shall also be shared with the District Superintendent of Police and Planning Development and Monitoring Department as well. The campaign shall be planned in such a manner that one Van should cover two panchayats in a single day.
The 34 schemes (17 each launched in urban and rural areas) of the Government of India are to be focused during the campaign. These include PM SVANidhi, PM Vishwakarma, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Mudra Loan, Startup India, Standup India, Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY, PM Awas Yojana (Urban),Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Urban), PM eBus Sewa, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), PM Bhartiya Jan AushadhiPariyojana, UJALA Yojana, Saubhagya Yojana, Digital Payment Infrastructure, Khelo India, RCS:UDAN, Vande Bharat Trains and Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
In Rural Areas : Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission,PM Awas Yojana (Rural), PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Vishwakarma, PM Kisan Saman, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), PM Poshan Abhiyan, Har Ghar Jal - Jal Jeevan Mission, Survey of villages and mapping with improvised technology in village areas (SVAMITVA),Jan Dhan Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, PM PRANAM and Nano Fertilizer.
