
Minister for Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today said that Omar Abdullah led government is committed to inclusive, balanced and equitable development of all regions and sub-regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said this while speaking with a delegation of SC/ST/OBC representatives who raised various issues concerning welfare of the tribal population.
“We are dedicated towards creating policies and programs that uplift all sections of the society, fostering an environment of inclusivity and equity,” Rana said.
He said that the Chief Minister has issued strict instructions to the administration to solve all the issues of tribals on priority.
Rana also addressed their concerns regarding the reservation policy, reaffirming the commitment towards empowering marginalized communities. He emphasized that the aspirations and the constitutional rights of these groups will be protected.
“People have given us a huge mandate and we are duty bound to work for their welfare,” he added
