On the occasion of the 76th Republic day many prominent figures across the country were honored for the best performance in various fields and in this regard many prominent figures of Jammu and Kashmir were given by the Jammu and Kashmir 'UT' government in different fields. Awarded the State Award for Best Performance. These individuals include Gulzar Ahmad Bhat a prominent expert in folk theatre from Kashmir province and Chairman of the All J&K Folk Artist Association Gulzar Ahmad Bhat worked hard day and night to publicize traditional music and folklore in Jammu and Kashmir and other states of the country. I have been blessed with such a beautiful favor and I am also grateful to my parents whose prayers I have come to this place today. He thanked his guardians, friends and goodwills and said that if these people had not standing side by side with me it would probably have been difficult for me to reach this place. He added that this identity is not only mine but of everyone who believed in me. Many political, social, literary associations as well as many other prominent personalities congratulated Gulzar Ahmad Bhat to give the state award. Gulzar Ahmad Bhat finally congratulated all the awardees for 2025. It is understood that these individuals will be granted at a prestigious event to be held very soon.
