Doda, June 16: The 13th day of the Inter-Zonal District Level Tournament 2026 organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Doda, witnessed spirited competition in the Girls' U-14 Kho-Kho and Chess events.

The Girls' U-14 Kho-Kho team of Zone Gundna emerged champions for the fourth consecutive year, cementing their dominance at the district level. In the final, Zone Gundna defeated a strong Zone Ghat side in a closely fought contest to lift the trophy once again.
The day also featured Girls' U-14 Chess competitions, where young participants showcased concentration, strategic thinking and sportsmanship, reflecting the growing interest in intellectual alongside physical sports disciplines.
Officials of the District Youth Services and Sports Department Doda congratulated the victorious Zone Gundna team and commended all participants for their competitive spirit, noting the steady growth of sports culture in the district.
