
Agartala, May 14; Governor of Tripura, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, graced a seminar on “Military Civil Fusion” held at the Headquarters of the 21 Sector Assam Rifles in Agartala.
The seminar brought together senior officials from the Assam Rifles, civil administration, and other stakeholders to deliberate on strengthening coordination between military forces and civil institutions. Discussions centered on enhancing synergy in areas such as disaster management, infrastructure development, community welfare, and internal security support mechanisms.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor appreciated the role of the Assam Rifles in maintaining peace and stability in the region while also contributing significantly to social outreach and developmental initiatives. He highlighted the importance of closer collaboration between the armed forces and civil agencies to ensure effective governance and timely response during emergencies.
Speakers at the seminar emphasized that military–civil fusion is essential for holistic development, especially in strategically sensitive and geographically challenging regions like the Northeast.
