The farmers of Hajin Sonawari area in Bandipora district are facing trouble from wild boars that have been destroying crops and orchards in the area.
The boars have been raiding farms at night, causing extensive damage to crops and fruits in Gundbal of Hajin Sonawari.
While speaking to media Farmers said we are facing immense hardship due to the increasing menace of wild boars destroying their crops and orchards.
These wild animals have caused significant damage to their livelihoods, leaving them in despair.
Farmers have expressed concern about their livelihoods being affected and have requested the wildlife department to take immediate action.
Meanwhile wildlife officials have responded by launching search operations in the Gandbal area trying to trap and relocate the boars and has acknowledged the issue and is taking steps to address it.
They are implementing measures to control the wild boar population and protect the farmers' crops.
