Srinagar , April 16: The Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), under the Ministry of Textiles, has extended the last date for submission of applications for the National Handicrafts Awards 2025 (Shilp Guru Award and National Award) till end of the month of April 2026.

As per the revised schedule, the last date for submission of entries at Handicraft Service Centres and Regional Offices has been extended from to April 30, 2026.
It has also been notified that eligibility of applicants has been fixed. Only artisans holding Identity Cards issued up to March 31, 2026 will be considered eligible. Artisans with Identity Cards issued after this date may apply in the subsequent year.
