IGAR (N) reviews security, operational preparedness in Nagaland

Kohima, June 10: Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) recently visited multiple Assam Rifles locations under Spear Corps in Nagaland to review the internal security situation and assess overall operational preparedness.
During the visit, the IG conducted a comprehensive inspection of units deployed across key locations and took stock of security dynamics in the region. He was briefed on operational readiness, ground deployment, and ongoing measures aimed at strengthening internal security.
The Inspector General commended the personnel for maintaining high standards of professionalism in challenging operational environments. He appreciated the troops for their discipline, alertness, and consistent efforts in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
He also reviewed initiatives undertaken to enhance combat readiness, including training exercises, infrastructure improvements, and coordination mechanisms within operational units.
The visit reaffirmed Assam Rifles’ focus on maintaining high operational efficiency and readiness under Spear Corps, particularly in sensitive areas of Nagaland.
