As a part of week-long sports festival of District Police Budgam which commenced on 21 Oct 2022 and will continue till 31st October 2022, a Carrom Championship was today organised at DPL Budgam in which students of Spring Buds Educational Institute Ompora and Boys Higher Secondary School Budgam participated.
The final was played between Tanveer Rafiq and Sahil Farooq of Spring Buds Educational Institute Ompora vs Aubid Hussain and Saqib Ali of Boys Higher Secondary School Budgam. Aubid Hussain and Saqib Ali won the championship.
DySP DAR Budgam Owaise Rashid-JKPS presented the trophies to winners and runners up besides, refreshment was provided to all participating players. It is pertinent to mention that week long sports festival of District Police Budgam is being observed in remembrance of the Police Martyrs.
