
According to the information given by Mr. NK Tripathi (IPS), President of Madhya Pradesh Wushu Association, the 11th Junior Asian Wushu Championship organized by the International Wushu Association from 14 to 21 August 2023 in Macao China. Sarika Gupta, Secretary Madhya Pradesh Wushu Sangh, Vishwamitra Awardee has been selected as the coach of the Indian Wushu team. Sarika Gupta is the coach of the Indian Wushu team since 2007 season and has reached Macao China with the team. Last year, the World Wushu Championship was organized in Indonesia, in which the Indian Wushu team, under the training of Sarika Gupta, got three gold medals and got the third place in the World Championship. The Indian Wushu team consists of 25 players, out of which Madhya Pradesh's native player Tanya Jatav is included from Madhya Pradesh. Tanya Jatav has earlier represented India in the World Wushu Championship in Bulgaria. This competition will be held in Macao China till 21st August. The team leader of the team is Mr. Suhail Ahmed, CEO, Wushu Federation of India. Siddharth Srivastava, Treasurer of Madhya Pradesh Wushu Sangh, Co-Secretary Rajneesh Saxena, Executive Members Maya Rajak, Vikas Chaturvedi, Shailendra Sharma, etc. have given their best wishes to the Indian Wushu team and Madhya Pradesh's player and coach Sarika Gupta.
