The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSSO), Samba, is successfully organizing the Inter Zonal District Level Tournament for Under-14 and Under-17 boys and girls in Badminton, Football, Chess, and Cricket.
Now in its fifth day, the tournament is being held at the Rani Suchet Singh Sports Stadium and Kehli Mandi Cricket Ground. Despite soaring temperatures, 207 young athletes from all five zones of District Samba have showcased exceptional determination, talent, and sportsmanship.
The event is being conducted under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Dharmvir Singh. In a special segment of the program, participants took a pledge to promote active engagement in sports and raise awareness about drug prevention, aiming to foster a healthy and disciplined lifestyle among youth.
DYSSO Dharmvir Singh congratulated all participants for their dedication and spirited performances, emphasizing the true essence of teamwork and sportsmanship demonstrated throughout the event.
