Iraqi health officials visit Saifi Hospital

New Delhi, Oct 6: Dr. Mohammed Hashim Aljefery, Health Attaché at the Health Office of the Embassy of Republic of Iraq, and Deputy Health Attaché Omar Essa Al Azawi visited Saifi Hospital in New Delhi and conducted a detailed inspection of the hospital’s healthcare facilities and medical infrastructure.

The two officials visited various departments of the hospital and reviewed the healthcare services being provided to patients. During the visit, they appreciated the efforts being undertaken by the hospital management to ensure patient convenience and provide quality medical care.
Upon their arrival at the Saifi Hospital, the officials were welcomed by Managing Director Rizwan Saifi and Director Hamza Saifi. They briefed the visiting officials on the medical facilities available at the hospital, its range of specialist services, patient-care arrangements and overall functioning.
The Iraqi health officials also toured different sections of the hospital and observed the medical services and patient facilities first-hand.
Shakil Saifi, Chairman of World Peace Harmony, was also present on the occasion. He held discussions with the health officials from the Embassy of Iraq on the possibilities of cooperation between India and Iraq in the healthcare and medical sectors. The discussions also covered opportunities for sharing medical expertise, healthcare services and experiences between the two countries.
After reviewing the hospital’s facilities and arrangements, Dr. Mohammed Hashim Aljefery and Omar Essa Al Azawi appreciated the efforts being made by the hospital management to provide patients with better healthcare facilities.
Managing Director Rizwan Saifi and Director Hamza Saifi said that the objective of Saifi Hospital is to provide patients with quality and advanced medical care. They said that visits by international healthcare representatives and their assessment of the hospital’s facilities were encouraging for the institution. Such interactions, they added, could facilitate the exchange of medical expertise and experience while opening new avenues for future cooperation in the healthcare sector.
Shakil Saifi said that India and Iraq have shared friendly relations for a long time and that healthcare and medicine can serve as an important avenue for strengthening cooperation between the two countries. He expressed hope that cooperation between India and Iraq in the healthcare sector could be further strengthened in the coming years.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Saifi Hospital management expressed its gratitude to the two Iraqi health officials. The hospital management said that the visit was significant in exploring opportunities to improve medical services and strengthen possibilities for international cooperation in the healthcare sector.
