Almighty Allah is the creator of life which is the most brilliant demonstration of His wisdom , knowledge and art. It’s one of the important signs of his power . The most important creation in the universe is that of Human being. He has made as vicegerent on earth. He has been given the faculty of knowledge which made him superior to all creations. Almighty Allah says in the Qur’an chapter 2: 29 verse “It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, (His being above all creations), and made them seven heavens, and He is knowing of all things”.

Human being has been created best of morals . He is in every aspect the best of creation. Almighty Allah says in the Qur’an , chapter 95: 4 verse “ surely we have created man in the best mould “. Nothing comes in existence by chance . There is a definite purpose behind the creation of life . Almighty Allah says in the Qur’an, chapter 51:57 verse “I have created Jinn and men so that they should worship me “.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“Verily, Allah has said: ‘I have created My servants as monotheists, but the devils misled them.’”
(Sahih Muslim 2865)
This highlights that humans are created to recognize and worship Allah.
Another hadith The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those done regularly, even if they are small.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 6464, Sahih Muslim 782)
This teaches that consistency in worship and good deeds helps achieve the ultimate goal of pleasing Allah.
According to Islam life is a test / command of Almighty Allah, therefore most precious. Life doesn’t belong to us but we have to keep it in proper care. The physical, mental , emotional and psychological needs of life are to b fulfilled. ”Life is a gift from Allah” emphasizes that our existence is a divine gift entrusted to us by Allah. It reminds us to live with purpose, gratitude, and responsibility, knowing that we are stewards of the blessings we have been given. This perspective encourages us to fulfill our duties, seek the good, and maintain our faith in Allah’s wisdom in all circumstances. Life is very special trust of Almighty Allah, it can’t be destroyed. We have faith in Almighty Allah that everything whether good or bad came to us from Almighty Allah . We cannot harm our life we cannot commit suicide. In Islam, suicide is considered a grave sin and is strictly forbidden. The Quran and hadith emphasize the sanctity of life, which is considered a sacred gift from Allah. Suicide is considered a violation of this gift. The Qur’an states:
“Do not kill yourselves. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful.”
(Qur’an 4:29)
This verse highlights that life is a gift from Allah and should not be taken, whether by oneself or others.

Punishment for Suicide

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) strongly discouraged suicide and warned of its consequences. He said:
“Whoever kills himself with something will be punished with it in the Hellfire.”
(Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
For example, if someone uses poison or a weapon to end their life, they will experience similar torment in the afterlife.
Life is the combination of happiness and sadness, where there is day there is night , where there is darkness there is light and at times there can be smiles then tears. there can be ease in someone’s life and vice-versa, as per the God’s plan. The Qur’an reassures believers:
“Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.”
(Qur’an 2:286).
We are not the owner of our lives but this ownership belongs to Almighty Allah. He only has the right to give and take the life .No human being is allowed to do commit suicide or take the measures which can lead the destruction of the life .our situation in this world is like a guest. The matter doesn’t stop here but the believers have been suggested or ordered not to kill anyone as killings someone is actually interference in the Almighty Allah ‘s plan . Almighty Allah says that if somebody kills a person as he has killed the whole mankind and if somebody saves a life it is as he have saved whole mankind.
Islam stressed the equality and dignity of human beings , promotes Universal brotherhood and mutual respect. Everything in universe is created by Almighty Allah, so every life should b respected. Believers must live with purpose, gratitude, and accountability, seeking knowledge, do good , help others, worshiping Allah, and trusting His wisdom.
