The election fervor this time is at time is at a high pitch and in the electioneering congress leader and MP from waynad has given rise to a controversy of Jai Shri Ram Vs Jai Sia Ram.The congress leader has accused its arch rival BJP of not giving fair representation to women and in RSS there is no entry for the fairer sex and RSS being the ideological mentor of BJP, is also paying scant regard to women in its organization which according to Rahul Gandhi is obvious in its political and religious slogan of Jai Shri Ram on which BJP is banking for electoral dividends and this party is shy of calling Jai Sai Ram and this clearly shows the disregard of BJP for women flock.BJP alleges that congress and its senior leader Rahul remembers Ram only during elections and forgets it during other normal times. Congress of today seems to be anti –Hindu and enjoys Hindu bashing. Congress has in the past questioned the existence of Lord Ram who is the life breath and essence of Hindutva. Not only this, congress had doubts about the Ram Satu. It is again the congress which gave coined the word Hindu terror. Now congress leader is saying that congress slogan is Jai Shri Ram and not Jai Siya Ram and on this Rahul gave advice to BJP.
Rahul Gandhi said he met a Pundit who told him the meaning of Hey Ram,Jai Sri Ram and Jai Siya Ram.’’My request to my RSS friends is chant all these three slogans and do not disrespect Sita ji’’ said Rahul Gandhi.The congress leader Rahul Gandhi brought an analogy with Ram to criticize the BJP and RSS and said they say Jai Shri Ram and not Jai Siya Ram,because they do not worship Sita.The comment comes days after PM Narendra Modi slammed the congress for party chief Mallikarjun’Kharge’s Ravan jibe and said that the congress never believed in Ram but compared PM Modi with Ravan .Addressing a rally at Agar Malwa in MP,Rahul Gandhi said the meaning of Jai Siya Ram or Jai Sita Ram is that Ram and Sita are the same.Rahul Said ,’’ How can they give this slogan when there is no women in the Party (RSS).Rahul tweeted that Ram’s name is incomplete without Sita and they are one and therefore we say Jai Siya Ram.Lord Ram had fought for Sita and we meditate siya Ram and respect women for being the embodiment and form of Sita.Rahul further said that,’’ Gandhiji used to say Hey Ram.
It was his slogan. What does this mean? It means that Lord Ram was not only an individual but way of life symbolizing love, brotherhood, respect and tapasya (penance).When Gandhiji used to say Hey Ram ,it meant that the ideals of Lord Ram are within us and we have to follow them,’’said Rahul Gandhi. Rahul further said the second slogan is Jai Siya Ram which means that Sita and Ram are the same.’’As per Rahul Gandhi third slogan is Jai Shri Ram which respects Lord Ram. The Pundit ji asked me to raise the question that why the BJP never chants Jai Shri Ram but not Jai Siya Ram or Hey Ram.It was a deep thought. Rahul said. Thus Rahul Gandhi explained that’’ so my request to my RSS friends is –please chant Jai Siya Ram and Hey Ram also along with Jai Shri Ram. Do not disrespect Sitaji.’’Rahul further said BJP does not regard Sita and why it is giving slogan of Jai Shri Ram and not Jai Siya Ram.Rahul Gandhi has said and given a new advice to congress on a rally in Agar Malva that BJP should say jai Siya Ram instead of Jai Shri Ram. The congress leader Rahul has attacked BJP.Criticising BJP,Rahul Gandhi has said that BJP and RSS are giving the slogan of Jai Shri Ram because it does not worship Sita. Rahul Gandhi has admonished BJP and RSS in a rally in MP that the meaning of Jai Siya Ram or. Jai Sita Ram is same .But BJP and RSS are giving the slogan of Jai Shri Ram because they do not recognize Sita. He said that BJP should now change its slogan.We the congressmen are respecting women. He also said that without Sita ,Ram is incomplete and the slogan of Jai Siya Ram slogan shows that both the gods are same and we are meditating Jai Siya Ram because we respect women treating them as the symbol and form of Sita.
Rahul Gandhi is giving sermons to BJP and RSS and advising these right wing parties to change their slogan of Jai Shri Ram and instead give and say slogan of Jai Siya Ram because both connote the same thing and refer to Ram and Sita and therefore it is proper that BJP should now give the slogan of jai Siya Ram instead of Jai Shri Ram.According to Rahul Gandhi ,the BJP and RSS feel shy of giving the slogan of Jai Siya Ram because these parties do not respect and worship Sita.PM Modi used Jai Siya Ram in his Ram Mandir Bhoomi Puja speech,whereas the slogan associated with Ram Janamboomi movement is jai Shri Ram.At Ram Mandir bhoomi pujan ceremony in Ayodhya PM Modi began his speech with Jai Siya Ram instead of Jai Shri Ram,the slogan that has come to be closely associated with Ram Janamboomi movement. ’’First let us remember Lord Ram and Mata Janki ---Siya var Ram Chandra ki Jai ‘’ said Modi. It has been argued that invocation of Jai Siya Ram rather than Jai Shri Ram has signaled a departure from the Hindutva notion of Ram, since the latter is seen as a militarized slogan that gained prominence since 1984 with the rise of hindutva –led Ram Janamboomi movement ,and was common during the L.K Advani’s charged Rath Yatra.in 1990.Jai Siya Ram is meanwhile perceived as a gentle salutation ,where Ram is inseparable from Sita and is seen as a benevolent king who belongs to everybody.
It has historically been used as a common greeting ,such as Ram Ram and Jai Ram Ji Ki. On the comment of jai Siya Ram of Rahul Gandhi ,the BJP leaders became furious and the BJP leaders ,Narottam Mishra ,MP Giriraj Singh and deputy CM ,UP Keshv Prasad Mourya and their reaction is as under.MP home minister Narottam Mishra said Rahul Baba’s Knowledge is restricted to Baba Baba Black Ship . Rahul would never have turned the pages of Gita and neither had he read Ramayana and so he will never know that the name of Lord Ram is started with Shri.
In the same way the fire brand leader and MP Giriraj Singh has tweeted that Rahul Gandhi should first be conversant with Sanatan Dhrama and for this he will have to take many births. Kashv Morya the Deputy CM of UP has said the congress which has denied the existence of Ram and its MP Rahul Gandhi was forced him to say Jai Siya Ram if not Jai Shri Ram. This is the success of the BJP ideology and defeat of congress ideology. Now Rahul will be made to recite Jai Shri Krishan and jai Radharani. In short Rahul should not give sermons to BJP and RSS but confine himself to strengthen the congress party which is a sinking ship and Rahul should not involve in finer and subtle meanings and intricacies of Jai Shri Ram,Jai Siya Ram and Jai Sita Ram.The hard reality is that the slogan of Jai Shri Ram includes Sita Mata also as the word Shri implies Sita as well and therefore criticism of Rahul Gandhi does have no footing and he should desist from such criticism of BJP and RSS which know better the meanings of Jai Shri Ram, Jai Siya Ram and Jai Ram.
