Jealousy is a Disease of Heart and Soul !

Allah Tabarak and Taala describes this incident in verses 27 to 30 of Surat al-Ma'ida as follows: "Tell them the true condition of the two sons of Adam." Both of them offered a vow, one of them was accepted and the other one was not accepted, so he said that I will kill you

Jealousy is common in our society. Generally, instead of being happy to see a blessing or virtue in someone, they start wishing that that blessing or virtue would be taken away from him and disappear. Jealousy often leads a person to a level where he is always in a state of irritation and does not get irritated at all without the loss of grace and virtue that Mehsud gets. When Allah created Adam (peace be upon him) and gave him the attribute of knowledge, Allah ordered the angels to bow before him. In the company of these angels, there was also a jinn called Azazel, who became the companion of the angels due to the abundance of austerities. Instead of acknowledging the excellence of Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him), he refused to improve himself and bow down to Adam (peace be upon him). Because of this disobedience, Allah declared him rejected and turned him into a shrine. From that time until today, Iblis and his progeny have been busy misleading the children of Adam.

Allah Almighty has also described the story of the two sons of Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) in the Holy Qur'an.
Of which one son's sacrifice was accepted, causing the other son to become jealous.
Allah Tabarak and Taala describes this incident in verses 27 to 30 of Surat al-Ma'ida as follows: "Tell them the true condition of the two sons of Adam." Both of them offered a vow, one of them was accepted and the other one was not accepted, so he said that I will kill you. He (first) said: Allah only accepts the actions of the pious. Even if you stretch out your hands to kill me, I will never raise my hands to kill you. I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I want you to take my sin and your sins on your head and join the people of Hell (and) this is the reward of the wrongdoers. So his self motivated him to kill his brother and he killed him, making him one of the losers. Where Allah Tabarak and wa Ta'ala mentions the loss of the murderer, he also mentions in the next verse of Surat al-Ma'idah that there is no way for the murderer to cover up his crime and bury him after the death of his brother. was coming Through a crow, Allah Tabarak and wa ta'ala taught the murderer how to bury his brother's body. Allah Tabarak and wa ta'ala describes this in Surat al-Ma'ida verse 31 as follows: "Then Allah sent a crow that was digging in the ground to show him how to hide his brother's body." He said: Alas! Did I go past doing this to bury the corpse of my brother like this crow? Then he became (very) sorry and ashamed.
Allah has also mentioned in the Holy Qur'an that Allah gave a special place to Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his family with His grace, but many people have denied him and his family because of this gift of Allah. Be jealous. Allah Almighty says in verse 54 of Surah Al-Nisa, "Or do they envy the people for what Allah has given them out of His bounty?" So We have given the Book and wisdom to the family of Ibrahim and a great kingdom. It has been granted". When Allah, the Exalted and Exalted, revealed the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and placed the crown of prophethood and prophethood on his head, many people became jealous of him for no reason. Allah Tabarak wa Ta'ala made Abu Jahl's statement a part of the Holy Qur'an that instead of seeking guidance from Allah Tabarak wa Ta'ala, he prayed for punishment after the revelation of the revelation on him. Allah Almighty says in verse 32 of Surah Al-Anfal: “And when those people said: O Allah! If this Qur'an is indeed (the truth) from You, then rain down on us stones from the sky or inflict upon us some painful punishment.
The Jews settled in Yathrib waiting for the last Prophet, but when they came to know that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was from the Aal-Ishmael instead of the Aal-Ishaq, they began to show hatred and enmity towards him. That he became enmity about Hazrat Gabriel (peace be upon him). Allah Tabarak and wat'ala describes this fact in verses 97 to 99 of Surah Al-Baqarah like this: "(O Prophet!) You say! Whoever is an enemy of Jibraeel, he has indeed revealed this (Qur'an) to your heart by the command of Allah. (So Allah is also his enemy).
Whoever is an enemy of Allah and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael, the enemy of such disbelievers is Allah Himself. And indeed We have sent down clear proofs to you, which no one denies except the wrongdoers.”
From the above mentioned verses, it is not difficult to know the manner in which the blessings given by Allah were envied. Habib of Allah Ta'ala, peace and blessings be upon him, has forbidden the believers to be jealous of each other. Some important hadiths in this regard are as follows:
In Sahih al-Bukhari, it is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out of Madinah one day and prayed over the martyrs of Uhud, as one prays over a dead body (i.e. the funeral prayer). After that, he (PBUH) came to the pulpit and said, "I will reach (the pool of Kausar) before you and I will be a Mir Saman for you on the Day of Resurrection." I will bear witness against you and by Allah I am looking at my cistern of Kausar even now, I have been given the keys to the treasures of the earth and by Allah I do not fear about you that you will start committing shirk. I am afraid that you may fall into worldliness and become jealous of each other.
In Sahih Bukhari, it is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Avoid suspicion, because the words of suspicion are often lies." Do not hold grudges, but all the servants of Allah! Be like brothers.
In Sahih Bukhari, it is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, "Do not hold grudges among yourselves, do not be jealous, and do not harm anyone behind your back, but the servants of Allah!" Live as brothers among yourselves and it is not permissible for a Muslim that a brother should not greet his brother for more than three days.

In order to avoid the evil effects of envy and malice, a person should frequently recite the Mu'awiztin (the last two surahs) and repeat the azkar-e-masnoona mentioned in the hadiths. When a person seeks refuge from Allah Tabarak wa Ta'ala with sincerity of heart, Allah Tabarak wa Taala grants him refuge. We pray to Allah Almighty to save us all from envy and protect us from the envy and evil of the envious, Ameen!
